Village Fair:
A vote of thanks went to
Christine Harrison and her team on another successful day.
Jean Brodie Memorial Fund. 
A
Bench in memory of Jean Brodie has been ordered at a cost of £384.10.
The Community Foundation for Surrey have printed
the Grassroots flyer for the Village, which will be distributed later
this month.
Public Toilets in Peaslaske,
There was a unanimous Vote
against building a public convenience in the village
(to be conveyed to SPC and
Surrey Hills.)
Request from Dr. Keown.
A request was read out from Dr.
Keown asking for volunteers to help provide a short term assistance in
the area for people who fall ill and do not have “back up” Anyone
interested helping please contact Dr. Keown on 01306730875.
Roads and footpaths.
The drain by the field opposite
the Barn conversion in Pursers Lane was not clearing water and when
raining caused large amounts of water to stand making problems for
pedestrians.
The road junction Walking Botton
and Houndhouse Road No signs, no road markings and the surface is
considered to be in a dangerous condition.
Other Village Matters:
The re-fixing of the Bible box
in the Village centre.
Questions were raised on how
Surry Hill Society is funded.
